Katrina has taught since 1999 in a variety of settings, including at graduate level in the Department of Drama: Theatre, Film, Television, at Bristol University. While in Chicago she taught at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the MCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) and with After School Matters at Schurz High School. She has also taught at Arnofini and Watershed, in Bristol and with Bath Dance.  She holds a teaching qualification, the City & Guilds 7302 Level 3 Certificate in Delivering Learning.

Katrina has done movement since age 6, starting with Eurythmy ‘thinking with your body’, through Yoga to Contact Improvisation ‘moving massage’ and Shintaido since 1996 – moving meditation from Japan.  She is currently an Instructor of Shintaido.

She has a City & Guilds teaching qualification, the 7302 Certificate in Delivering Learning. She also trained as an RGN (Registered General Nurse).

She currently teaches 2 weekly Shintaido classes, in Bristol and Nailsworth, Gloucestershire and at various British Shintaido National Residential Workshops.

Professional Development:

Katrina attend takes regular workshops for her professional development as an Artist.  She has attended workshops with Mark Jeffery (US/UK) run by Dance 4, Nottingham, a winter school with Marilyn Arsem (US) at New Moves, Glasgow and 3 Goat Island (US)Summer Schools, as both a participant and as a Teaching Assistant.
